You can only access it by driving on a bumpy track, riding on a water taxi from the centre of Playa Blanca, or hiking on a trail leading to the beach. Even though it offers limited access, the beach is still constantly full of tourists due to its beauty.

Since the beach is in a slightly remote area, there are only a few activities to do like hiking, sunbathing, and swimming.

Yes, BUT keep in mind that there are no paved roads aside from a particular track leading to the parking of Papagayo beach. And the parking spaces are quickly occupied, so plan your trip accordingly.
