1. Shanghai Wok

Chinese Buffet in Shanghai Wok

This all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet is only a 2-minute walk from the beach.

It offers a good selection of almost everything — soups, starters, sides, and main dishes. There are also fruits, pastries, and sushi available in this restaurant.

I also liked that you can choose some raw seafood or meat and get it freshly cooked right there and then. And you get to select the sauce that goes with the dish.

It’s a great spot to dine in, particularly if you’re with a big group. The variety of food here would likely satisfy each person’s palate.

Most reviews praise this Asian restaurant for its unbelievably low price and friendly staff, and I couldn’t agree more.

2. Asia Restaurant Buen Gusto

Here’s another place that serves wonderful Asian cuisine. I’m especially amazed at how tasty their set meals are.

Their extensive menu comprises numerous mouthwatering beef, chicken, and seafood dishes. And there are plenty of vegetarian options, too.

Adult diners are fond of their house wine and beer, while the kids enjoy their assortment of juices and smoothies.

The staff is welcoming and prompt. They serve your orders quickly and assist you whenever you need help.

I also loved how the restaurant faces onto the beach, and there are tables & seats outside. If you fancy a lovely view while you eat, this place is for you.

If you’re a bit exhausted from traveling all day and want to unwind, I recommend that you visit Centro Comercial Papagayo.

Since it’s a commercial center/mall, you can easily access multiple restaurants, bars, and stores in one area.

It’s the ultimate spot to check out when it’s late at night and you want something to eat. Or perhaps you suddenly crave a burger, pizza, or kebab — a perfect place to order takeaways.

You can choose from these diverse cuisines: Indian, Italian, Irish, British, Caribbean, and of course — Spanish.

Aside from the fantastic choice of meals, there’s also some live music and entertainment at the location for you to enjoy.

A bar and restaurant that caters to British people are among Las Brisas Resort’s beautiful spacious amenities.

They serve some English comfort foods such as fish and chips, onion rings, and chili nachos — perfect snacks to pair with the refreshing beers and other drinks from the bar.

When we were there, we got to participate in one of their game/quiz nights. And it’s a fun experience!

The staff’s friendliness and the overall ambiance of the resort put you in such a good mood while you eat to your heart’s content.

You can find Casa Mila adjacent to the large Hyperdino supermarket. You must walk a few streets back from the beach, but it’s worth it.

It’s a lovely spot to stop by for a quick breakfast or lunch after you’ve done some shopping.

This little cafe serves tasty and cheap homemade tapas, particularly a tapas set meal consisting of 6 tapas priced at 23 euros.

They also serve homemade croquettes, ice-cold beers, and great coffees (usually with a biscuit or a slice of cake).

The café is frequented by locals and well-loved by tourists because aside from the fabulous menu, the owners and staff are warm and delightful.

It’s a hidden gem that’s truly worth checking out!

Do you love churros? If so, you shouldn’t miss this incredible place that makes giant churros.

The large-sized churros are always freshly made and they are served with a big cup of chocolate dip. It’s sooo good!

Besides their famous churros, this cafe also serves fab coffees and other cheap delicious Spanish dishes.

Lastly, the outdoor seating is perfect for relaxing and pleasant dining. So if you wish to enjoy some massive yummy churros on the island — this is the cafe to visit.

7. La Tapita

I heard nothing but good reviews about this local restaurant, and it did not disappoint.

This place is well-known because of its tapas which the locals and tourists can’t get enough of.

That said, their authentic and freshly made tapas are often considered one of the best in Lanzarote.

And while Spanish tapas is their bestselling dish, I recommend that you also try the other food items on their menu.

We ordered paella, mussels, and octopus — and we enjoyed everything.

La Tapita is often full of diners, and it’s completely understandable. After all, it’s rare to find an incredible place that serves local food at non-tourist prices.

That’s why I highly suggest this place if you’re after cheap authentic Canarian tapas and Spanish meals!

Up for some South American food? Sabor Venezolano Arepera Bar serves authentic Venezuelan dishes like tequeños, pabellón, empanadas, and the iconic arepas.

Their arepas are known all over the island and they offer it with a generous amount of various fillings like chicken, prawns, chorizo, tuna, or eggs.

They also have other typical food items such as pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, etc. which are ideal for takeaway.

Finally, they offer some Spanish favorites like tapas. There are also a good variety of beers, juices, and other drinks to try out.

9. Bedouin’s Lounge Authentic Moroccan (Salim’s Bar)

One of the things I like about Playa Blanca is that every restaurant in the area offers something different and has its specialty.

Take Bedouin’s Lounge Authentic Moroccan for example, this small cozy bar is known to serve authentic and flavourful Morrocan food.

You can find it around the corner from the Spar supermarket and it has both indoor & outdoor seating.

The meals are prepared and cooked upon order so there’s a bit of waiting time. But the food tastes so good that you won’t likely mind the slight delay.

Their bestsellers — lamb tagine and couscous — are truly worth trying. The lamb is very tender and well-cooked that it just falls off the bone.

They offer cheap drinks like a big beer for only €2 and a vodka tonic for €4.5 that go well with the food.

It’s a relaxing place that’s a little far from the beach, and another hidden gem that offers wonderful homemade food at very reasonable prices.

10. Antonio’s Bar

I’m so glad that we discovered this small Spanish cafe that offers superb food & drinks.

Their menu is a bit limited, but everything tastes incredible and is truly a great value for money.

They got salads, toast, burgers, and sandwiches — but I strongly recommend that you try their €7.5 Pork Knuckle & French Fries.

It’s at the back of the menu and many people miss it, so make sure you flip the menu around.

That’s what we ordered, and all I can say is — excellent choice! We cleaned our plates and there were almost no crumbs left.

We also had coffee, it tastes good and was served with cakes. The staff is friendly and attentive.

They even include scissors in the utensil caddy to make the opening of the condiments a breeze. How thoughtful is that?

Awesome food and service, definitely one of the cafes you must visit when you’re around Playa Blanca.

I know many people prefer a wide selection of menu items, and if you’re the same, Restaurante Grill Volcan De Timanfaya is an ideal option for you.

They have a massive menu, ranging from Spanish favorites to grilled meat and seafood dishes.

The Grilled Bull Chop, which we ordered, is among their bestsellers and a must-try. It’s huge and scrumptious, and only priced at €17!

Its location by the sea is a big plus. The gorgeous view completely turns the dining experience up a notch.
