Shore Fishing In Lanzarote
Once you have the required license, you can now enjoy fishing. There are many towns and resorts where you can start.
In the island’s capital city, Arrecife, you can have a good catch just off the near shore. Fishes like striped seabream, common pandora, and red porgy are often in sight around this area.
Aside from its sophisticated ports and delightful beaches, Playa Blanca is also known for having some of the best fishing spots in Lanzarote.
The combined sandy and rocky terrains of the resort make it a perfect place to fish for mackerel, sierra, comber, barracuda, and pejerrey.
Breakwaters along Costa Teguise’s beaches — Playa Las Cucharas and Playa del Jablillo — are also ideal fishing spots you must visit.
Organized Fishing Trips
If you’re after a memorable fishing experience and a much bigger catch (massive Tunas and Blue Marlins), it’s better to opt for an organized fishing trip.
Doing so will enable you to enjoy more of the actual fishing adventure because the trip organizers often take care of everything.
Joining one means less worry and hassle. You won’t need to think about the gear, boat, license, or even snacks — all of these are often provided.
